We Sway Together is a sensorial aesthetic film documenting the ever-evolving relationship between murals in the making and the spectators that saw it come together. Using only still images of dynamic work-in-progress photographs intertwined with conversations with the muralists, stakeholders, and every member on campus, this film closely records the efforts of the muralists from start to finish, the story of how these murals grew beyond a painted wall – into a timeless, memorable and relatable space of comfort within their own lives – when the facade of a brutalist monochromatic monument was colourfully painted by hands of artists, over 65 days and nights, an iconic wall coming to life, etched in the memory of the campus community.
